How to join FCMA?

Application Process:

  1. Complete FCMA Membership Application.
  2. The application will be processed when all components have been received.
  3. Once the application is approved, you will be notified that you are a member of FCMA. You will receive your membership packet.

 

Membership Requirements:

  • FCMA is open to pastors who oversee a ministry.
  • Must have a definite call to one of the five-fold offices.
  • Must be active in ministry on either a full-time or part-time basis.
  • Must be over 21 years of age.
  • Have completed one of the following:
    • -High School or equivalent
    • One year of formal Bible training from an approved Bible School
    • -Six consecutive months of active full-time ministry
  • Submit three letters of recommendation

 Application Requirements:

  1. Annual membership $100.00
  2. Willingness to serve on appointed committees as needed.
Guidelines for church or ministry membership
  • The following are guidelines for church government relative to Faith Consulate Ministries Alliance providing ministry accountability and ministry development.
  • Develop plans concerning your church or ministry structure and what objectives you plan to accomplish during the year or upcoming year.
  • Maintain integrity and Biblical stewardship in managing the money and/or resources of your church.
  • Abide by civil laws regarding the local church's administration and operation as an exempt 501(C)3 organization. Obtain exempt status at both the federal and state levels.
  • Statement of Faith and Bylaws are consistent with scripture. Beliefs of the church should conform to doctrine as outlined in scripture regarding the New Testament Church. (Ephesians, 2:20).
  • The church's pastor is the supreme authority under Jesus Christ in the local church (1 Peter 5:1-4). Following the senior pastor are elders and deacons. Elders are associate pastors, assistant pastors, or teachers.
  • Maintain healthy family relationships.
  • Membership in the Alliance can be renewed annually.
  • Be an example to the flock as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:15 and 1 Peter 5:1-3.
  • Either party can terminate participation in the Alliance at any time.
